The outside of your boat takes a beating from sun, water, and environmental exposure. Fiberglass oxidizes, gelcoat dulls, chrome pits, and waterline stains accumulate. Our exterior boat detailing service restores the finish and protects it against the elements.

Hull Cleaning and Waterline Stain Removal

The hull — both above and at the waterline — collects algae, scum, mineral deposits, and oxidation. We clean the full hull surface using marine-grade cleaners appropriate for fiberglass and gelcoat. Waterline stains are treated with specialized products that dissolve the mineral and organic deposits that a standard wash won't remove. The result is a clean, bright hull from the keel to the gunwale.

Oxidation Removal

Fiberglass gelcoat oxidizes from constant UV exposure, turning chalky, dull, and hazy — a process very similar to headlight oxidation on a car. We compound and polish oxidized gelcoat surfaces to restore the original gloss and color. On boats with moderate to heavy oxidation, this step alone produces a dramatic transformation, bringing back the deep shine that characterized the boat when it was new.

Marine Wax and Polish

After oxidation removal and surface prep, we apply a high-quality marine wax or polish to the hull and topsides. Marine wax is formulated to withstand UV exposure, salt air, and repeated water contact better than standard automotive products. It protects the gelcoat from future oxidation, repels water and contamination, and gives the hull a brilliant, deep shine.

Chrome and Metal Polishing

Cleats, rails, fittings, trim rings, and other chrome or stainless steel hardware on boats tarnish and pit from constant exposure to moisture and UV. We polish all accessible chrome and metal hardware to remove tarnish, oxidation, and water spots, restoring the mirror finish that makes a boat's hardware look sharp and new.

Exterior Glass Cleaning

Windshields and port windows are cleaned streak-free. Marine glass collects the same water spots, salt haze, and grime as automotive glass, and clean glass makes a significant difference in the overall appearance — and your forward visibility on the water.

Interior Boat Detailing

The interior of a boat is exposed to a harsh combination of moisture, sun, fish, food, and heavy use. We clean and restore every surface in the cockpit and cabin to leave it fresh, clean, and properly protected.

Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning

We shampoo boat carpet to remove embedded dirt and odors, and clean all marine upholstery — vinyl and fabric seating, cushions, and bolsters. Marine vinyl is treated with a UV-protective conditioner after cleaning to prevent the cracking and fading that occurs without proper care.

Cockpit and Console Cleaning

The helm console, instrument gauges, dash panels, storage compartments, and all cockpit surfaces are wiped down, cleaned, and dressed. We remove the accumulated sunscreen residue, fish slime, food stains, and general grime from all horizontal and vertical surfaces. Cup holders, rod holders, and all the small details that accumulate grime are addressed.
